About Our Team

Dr Warren Joubert
Dr Warren Joubert specialises in gastro-intestinal cancer, including colo-rectal and pancreatic cancer; uro-genital cancer, neuroendocrine and sarcoma oncology. He has worked in both the private (Greenslopes Hospital 2010 – ongoing) and public sectors (Princess Alexandra Hospital 2007 – 2020) and in 2020 commenced full time private practice.
Warren is a member of the Australasian Gastro-intestinal Trials Group and New Zealand Sarcoma Association. Dr Joubert is cited as a principle or associate investigator on a number of clinical trials in gastro-intestinal, uro-genital cancer and sarcoma and is expanding Gallipoli Medical Research Foundation’s focus on gastro- intestinal cancers with several new trials commencing in 2021/2022.

Associate Professor Victoria Atkinson
Associate Professor Victoria Atkinson’s tumour interests include melanoma, and upper gastro intestinal malignancies. She currently practices at Greenslopes Private Hospital (2011-ongoing) and the Princess Alexandra Hospital (2007-ongoing).
Associate Professor Atkinson has participated in practice changing systemic melanoma clinical trials as a principal investigator and is an author on pivotal publications in the field. Victoria is on the Executive Board of Melanoma Patients Australia and European Society Of Medical Oncology Faculty Member in Tumour Immunology and Immunotherapy.
